Since 1991, the earliest show date on DTE Energy Music Theatre’s schedule has been May 9 which occurred in 1992 (Bob McGrath from Sesame Street). The latest show date has been September 27, which happened in 2003 (Meat Loaf).

Sunken sound/light mixing area.
State-of-the-art lawn speaker system added in 1999.
Absorptive material added to the pavilion ceiling, stage house and stage right and left walls to improve overall sound quality to decrease reverberation time from five seconds to 2.5 seconds.
Stage areas where audio subwoofers rest rebuilt to isolate them from pavilion and remaining stage structure and sound absorbing banners hung along sides of pavilion to further decrease reverberation and sound spillage.

More than $7.5 million in landscaping over past 15 years including five water features on site.
