with Ellie Goulding

Jul 11 , 2013 The Palace of Auburn Hills

Bruno Mars fans have waited long enough – he’s bringing his “The Moonshine Jungle World Tour” with Ellie Goulding to The Palace, Thursday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets at $84, $74, $54 and $40 reserved are on sale at Palacenet.com, Livenation.com, The Palace Ticket Store and all Ticketmaster locations, including The Locker Room Store at Great Lakes Crossing. Tickets may be also charged by phone to American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard by calling 800.745.3000. There’s an eight-ticket limit for the first day of on-sale.

“The Moonshine Jungle World Tour” comes just as “When I Was Your Man” – the latest single from Mars’ just-released sophomore album, “UNORTHODOX JUKEBOX” – has exploded into the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 where it joins the album’s blockbuster first single, “Locked Out Of Heaven.” The immediate success of “When I Was Your Man” marks the GRAMMY®-winner’s 10th consecutive single to hit the Top 10.

“UNORTHODOX JUKEBOX” debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 with sales in excess of 192,000, marking Mars’ highest first week sales. The phenomenal success of “UNORTHODOX JUKEBOX” follows Mars’ 2010 debut, “DOO-WOPS & HOOLIGANS.” The 14-time Grammy Award nominee’s global sales are currently certified at 40x-platinum and over 50 million singles sold worldwide.

Recognition in 2011 and 2012 from ASCAP, including the ASCAP Pop Award for “Song of the Year” for “Just The Way You Are,” join Mars’ Grammy Award for “Best Male Pop Vocal Performance” (for “Just The Way You Are”), an American Music Award for “Pop or Rock Music/Favorite Male Artist,” a Soul Train Music Award and multiple 2011 Billboard Awards including “Top Male Hot 100 Artist of the Year.”
