Paramore headlines “The Self-Titled Tour” in a theater setting at The Palace of Auburn Hills with Metric and HelloGoodbye on Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets at $45 general admission floor, $39.50, $35 and $25 reserved are on sale now at Palacenet.com, Livenation.com, The Palace Ticket Store and all Ticketmaster locations, including The Locker Room Store at Great Lakes Crossing. The paperless tickets – issued to prevent scalping and give fans the first opportunity to buy tickets – may be also charged by phone to American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard by calling 800.745.3000.
The eagerly anticipated tour celebrates Paramore’s new album, “PARAMORE,” which debuted at #1 on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 upon its April release. “PARAMORE” also scored an array of #1 debuts around the globe, marking Paramore’s second consecutive chart-topper – following 2009’s “brand new eyes” – in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and the United Kingdom, as well as its first to reach the top position in such countries as Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico.
“Still Into You,” the latest single from “PARAMORE,” is currently lighting up CHR/Top 40 and Hot AC radio outlets nationwide, while its companion video is in rotation at MTV, mtvU, MTV Hits, VH1, Nickelodeon, and FUSE. “Still Into You” has earned more than 17 million individual views at Paramore’s official YouTube channel.
Paramore will perform “Still Into You” as part of their first-ever live appearance on FOX’s annual awards show, Teen Choice 2013, on Aug. 11. The band are among the event’s leading nominees with a nod for “Choice Music: Rock Group” – a category they have already won four times, bringing their total Teen Choice Awards tally to eight and counting.
Paramore’s first all-new release in more than three years, “PARAMORE” was greeted with the best reviews of the band’s already acclaimed career. Nylon – covered by Hayley Williams – praised the album as “Paramore’s best record yet,” a sentiment echoed by Alternative Press, who featured the full line-up on its cover. “Grandiose without being pompous, spunky without coming off immature,” declared the AP feature story, “the album seamlessly jumps from sultry electro-rock (‘Fast In My Car’) to new jack swing (‘Ain’t It Fun’) to ukulele pop (the three-part interlude series of ‘Moving On,” ‘Holiday,” and ‘I’m Not Angry Anymore)… and that doesn’t even begin to address the album’s epic closing track, ‘Future,’ that you just have to hear to believe.” In addition, Alternative Press awarded “PARAMORE” its full five stars in a rave review declaring the band as “…one of the finest rock bands in America.”
