PS&E Names New Corporate Marketing Director
JARED ROSE NAMED DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE MARKETING FOR PALACE SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT
Jared Rose was named Director of Corporate Marketing for Palace Sports & Entertainment (PS&E). It was announced by Dan Hauser, Executive Vice President of PS&E. Rose will be responsible for sponsorship sales and account management of corporate partnerships for The Palace, Detroit Pistons, DTE Energy Music Theatre and Meadow Brook Music Festival. Prior to joining PS&E, Rose was the Vice President of Marketing and Sponsorship for Spokane Shock of the Arena Football League in Spokane, Washington where he developed the overall team’s marketing and advertising campaign including creative, graphic design, production, buying and execution of advertising. Previously, Rose was Director of Sponsorship for the Spokane Indians Baseball Club, a minor league affiliate of the Texas Rangers, also located in Spokane, Washington. He was responsible for sponsorship sales and account management, community and media relations as well as the director and coordinator for all in-game entertainment. In 2004, during his time with the Spokane Indians, Rose received the Minor League Sports Zone “Rising Star” Award for his excellence in minor league sports. Rose graduated from Eastern Washington University located in Cheney, Washington, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing before obtaining his Master’s degree in Athletic Administration from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. The Chewelah, Washington native now resides in Auburn Hills, Michigan where he enjoys many outdoor activities including golfing, hiking, camping and boating in his spare time. PS&E ownership includes The Palace and DTE Energy Music Theatre, as well as the management of Meadow Brook Music Festival on the campus of Oakland University. Combined, PS&E’s Michigan venues average 300 events and 3.5 million guests annually. The Palace has been voted Arena of the Year eight times by Performance magazine and twice by Pollstar magazine, also listed annually among North America’s top-grossing arenas. Voted “Best Outdoor Concert Venue” in Pollstar’s 2000 Readers’ Poll, DTE Energy Music Theatre has been listed as the nation’s most attended amphitheater by Amusement Business/Billboard each of the 19 years of PS&E ownership.
