Backstreet Boys "In a World Like This Tour"
with Jesse McCartney and DJ Pauly DAug 8 , 2013 DTE Energy Music Theatre
Backstreet Boys announced they will release a brand new album and bring their 24-city North American tour with – Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Litrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson – to DTE Energy Music Theatre on August 8 at 7 p.m. This is the band’s first tour with all five original members in a decade.
Tickets at $65, $45 and $30 in the pavilion, $27.50 on the lawn and a limited number of $75 lawn four-packs are on sale at Palacenet.com, Livenation.com, The Palace Ticket Store and all Ticketmaster locations, including The Locker Room Store at Great Lakes Crossing. Tickets may be also charged by phone to American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard by calling 800.745.3000. There is an eight-ticket limit.
“All five of us are thrilled to be back together and have the opportunity to play for the greatest fans in the world,” said Nick Carter. Backstreet Boys will be joined by special guests Jesse McCartney and DJ Pauly D.
The In A World Like This album is scheduled for release on July 30. The album was recorded in London and Los Angeles with producers Martin Terefe, Max Martin, Morgan Reid & Prophet, Dan Muckula and Justin Trugman. To show their appreciation to their fans, Backstreet Boys will be giving away a free download of “Permanent Stain” with the purchase of tickets to their upcoming U.S. tour. The first single “In A World Like This” will be available everywhere starting on June 25.
“We always want to top our previous albums. That’s always our objective,” said Carter. “All five of us were determined to create an album where every song could be a single.”
